growing up, Christmas style.

so, i hope everyone's Christmas was splendid. it went by so fast-don't you remember when you couldn't wait for the day santa came? It killed you to do anything, because all you could think about was what you were getting for Christmas. I was known as the "snooper" in my family. but it seems like there was not even time to snoop this year. maybe it was because i had nothing good on my list, so i wasn't expecting anything good, but i got plenty of great gifts. the theme of this year was growing up. on of my favorite gifts were these. my very own set of mixing bowls. i also got some measuring cups and spoons, cook book, and a new cute coat.

then i watched wall-e. advice, if you are feeling lonely, don't watch this movie. it will make you more depressed then you were before you started it. It was all about love. that is a touchy subject with me right now, and i choose not to post that part of my life for the world to see, but trust me, only watch if you are secure with your life. then my sister got the flu. sick. nasty.

but Christmas doesn't feel the same as it used to. i think it is because we are growing up. is this just me or does everyone feel this way?
