first off, yesterday when kelsey tyler and i were looking through some art work, we came across this creature. it is known in the animal world as a snake. it happened to be black and about 2 feet long, just resting on top of this picture. SICK. i know. so here we are, two girls screaming and flipping out in this kind of sketchy back ally. what should we do? who do we call? we need a real man to come rescue us. so i call my youth pastor, he is from texas and manly. so he comes rolling up in his truck with his Kanakuk All around Good kamper canoe paddle and kills it for us. it was sick. here is the end result.

thank goodness for men number 1.
today, i had a couple friends come out and help me arrange furniture, move it around price etc. one of them was male, he did much of the lifting. my dad said he would help, but he didn't. he said he would have ray come help, but ray is like 78 years old, so its a good thing he didn't but i am lucky enough to have a friend that came and helped all day.
thank goodness for men number 2.
and last night i went to the royals game. they won in the 9th. they are men.
so thank goodness for men number 3.
i hope to see you all at the sale. and men out there who read this. thank you for being strong and manly and killing snakes.
that picture is repulsive.
ReplyDeleteand i love it.
i also love that it was an all-around kamper paddle that won it.
how fitting.

ReplyDeletei really like this post.
ReplyDeletei know a guy that swung a live snake around his head and then cracked it like a whip and its head flew off. epic. i actually have no idea if that's true, but i like to think so.
i can't believe he sliced it's head off with a paddle!
