little.

oh hey.

went to chicago, loved it. love the time with my mom, never been on a trip just the two of us. loved the shopping, now wish it was cold so i could wear my new clothes.

moved to manhattan, love it. i just couldn't help but smile today when i was walking around this little town. my sisters/dad helped me move in. they said my room was little, but it works for me, really well actually. i built a desk and chair today (from a kit) all by myself. and it is still standing. i love putting things together like that, i used to do it with my dad-and it is something i miss.
only downside to manhattan, i have been spending lots of money on things i need, which is ok i guess, and i have no food. cause our kitchen is a storage room for construction things. i am excited for them to be done with our house so we can make it cozy and cute.

excited to see my roommates tomorrow and all the little kappas as we start work week.

i have little time left in college, and i have no clue what is going to come next. i'll keep you posted.

p.s. taylor swift and keith urban=well worth the ticket on ebay that i got for a lot cheaper then the face value.

love.

lovebug

so tonight i went to my second .(pause. i just flicked a spider off my comforter. sick nasty). concert of the summer-last week i went to the fray which was INCREDIBLE and awesome and so glad i went. but tonight, something a little bit different for you all.

jonas.
yes, i traveled down to the sprint center, with thousands of middle school girls who are very good at screaming to see these brothers perform. we went down to the block party before-where i did the cupid shuffle and hoedown throwdown in the middle of the power and light. the only time those two songs have been played there, i'm sure of it.

i saw crazy teens, inappropriate dressed little girls and dads who looked liked they would rather be dead then at this concert, but the funniest thing was this:

we got to our seats like right after the first band was about to end-it took us 45 minutes to get in the sprint center! but anyways, we trucked down to our seats, which were rather good, i thought, and there was this guy standing next to us. like by himself. he was probably 21ish. give or take. so i kept waiting for like his sister to come back from the bathroom or something, but nope never did. so then he starts talking to me:

him: so have you seen them before?
me: no, i just am here with my little sisters...not really my type of concert to go to.
him: oh, well i have seen them-i am from alabama.
me: oh, so what are you doing here?
him: i am in the air force, i took the train here today to see the concert
me: oh thats cool.

the concert starts.
he sings all the songs, he knows all the words and he is totally rocking out.

excuse me but do you realize where you are right now, young man?

other convos from the night.
him: man, i need to be in a band, all these girls screaming would be awesome.

him: (while the jo bros are singing a song from camp rock) Man i wish Demi would come out! (the girl in the movie...the fact that he knows this is just so funny)

he proceeded to tell me stories about his friend who proposed to his wife in Cinderella's castle, about his little sister (who he called so she could listen to the concert) and more. just so funny. all i could do was sit there and laugh at him-cause he was so serious about the concert-he was all like-these guys are really talented. which i agree with a little. but sir, go like to a coldplay concert-those guys are REALLY talented. right?

hilarious.

then i made my sisters rock out to BSB on the way home-i just couldn't resist.

chicago tomorrow-until next time.

the end is near?

well, three weeks left of "summer" -aka when i move back to manhattan. and i can't wait. i miss that place.

i miss being close to all my friends, i miss being able to be on my own time and not have to worry about anyone else. i miss not having to drive 10 minutes to see someone. and all this talk about senior year is strange. i will go to my last first day of school this year. and its strange to think that in a year from now, i have 0% of an idea as to where i will be. i think God will open doors that i didn't think he would open for me, and he will give me a place to live and enough money to eat and such. and for this i am excited, because of the mystery of it all. but i am also scared that i will be alone? which is strange but recently it has been in the back of my mind. i thought that about this summer, and at times i have been alone-but i have also had some good times with friends, old and new. there are so many opportunities out there in the world, and if you would have asked me last summer where I thought i would be this summer i would have said lots of things that are definitely not the case.

i guess what i am kinda learning this summer is there is no reason to think about what you are missing out on, or what is to come in the next months, but live in the moments you have now, because who knows if those moments you dream about in the future will ever be true.

and keep your options open, especially in this economy.

on a different note, if anyone needs a date to the fray concert-i can clear my calendar...

future.

today, was a great day to play golf. so i did. and didn't do too shabby. i had a lot of fun.

so listen, i have decided i want to marry a high school football coach from texas. this has become from my recent obsession with friday night lights, i just finished the first season. the head coach on the show and his wife have this oddly great marriage, and it makes me excited and hopeful that mine will be somewhat like it. i can't really explain what they do-but they communicate so well and just get along so great. now, i know that it is a tv show and your probably like "tricia is so lame for thinking that this happens in real life" but call me lame, because i do think it happens. I hope as i continue to spend the nights in my bed watching it-courtesy of netflix and my $9 a month-they keep their marriage great, and it doesn't fall apart.

on another note. i am going to DC thursday and am very excited.
